We asked her what a day in the life of Yolandi looks like so you can get a taste of that sweet sweet doggy life.
Morning
Wake up in bed right next to my mom. Bark at any other dog that moves on the bed. There are 5 others besides me. It doesn’t matter that I’m the smallest, I was voted to be the one who keeps everyone in line. We go out to the kitchen and I plan my day. I do go outside and grace the yard with a wee pee. We love to go out for a bagel or avocado toast and I always get a bite. I don’t drink coffee.
Midday
Continuing to keep everyone in line. I go outside only to bark at the other dogs and make sure they’re not up to any funny business. I have a chair right next to my mom’s desk that has a dog bed and a pillow and 2 blankets on it, so it’s nice and fluffy. I have a tiny bowl of water and food on my mom’s desk so I don’t have to eat with the regular dogs. My mom says it’s so I won’t attack anyone while they’re eating but I think it’s because I am a Diva. We like to either get food out (I mean I am a food blogger) or make some yummy vegan dish at home! I like when we cook at home because I get bites along the way.
Evening
We eat earlier so we usually make a dessert to have in the evenings. Dessert for dinner? Yes please! I hate when they make chocolate chip cookies though because then I can only have little bites of cookie pulled off to avoid the chips. I do enjoy a good scone though. We usually game, World of Warcraft or Overwatch. I’m always a tank because I’m so tough. Being 4.8 pounds never stopped me from being a boss woman. We watch tv shows like Below Deck, or What we do in the Shadows. I enjoy watching the vampires because I do believe I might be one. I have the teeth for it.
When it’s time to go to the bedroom it’s like a stampede out of the old west. No joke. All the pups come bounding down the hallway but don’t worry, I’m there to herd them to the bed where we all get Whimzee’s except Peebo (He’s 17) he gets a soft peanut butter and apple chew. Then my mom might read a while while I scratch at her blanket to tell her “it’s time for me to get under that blanket lady and get some shut eye.” She can interpret my scratches and barks perfectly. Good night.

Pretty sure I’m a Chihuahua.
How old are you?
I’m a rescue pup so my age isn’t a sure thing, but I’m “around” 13 years young!
What is your favourite food?
My favorite human food is broccoli, Brussels sprouts and tofu! I won’t pass up any cookie.
What is your favourite thing to do?
Go out to restaurants and get a couple of bites of human food or sleep in my “throne” next to my mom’s desk.
What is your favourite FuzzYard Toy?
The Avocado of course. It’s so cute though I can’t bite or attack it. I just sleep with it.
What is your guilty Pleasure?
Peanut butter soft serve. But then my tongue gets too cold and stops working and the soft serve gets all over my face.
Which movie best describes your life?
“Everything Everywhere All At Once” because that’s basically me when I eat food.
What makes you Unique?
I write all my own Instagram posts. I come up with ideas for TikTok and YouTube shorts. My mom just films. Lucky for my pawrents, I’m a creative gal.
Also, I eat a lot of food and don’t seem to gain weight. (Maybe because I’m vegan) Additionally, I still have several teeth which is pretty great for a mature woman like myself.
